I would have liked to see them release the album in time for the MSG show since this whole thing started in NYC :D  it would have a kind of poetic sense of closure to the old GNR and in with the new, but I don't think Mr. Rose is big on closure...

Can I get someone to call me if it is released in a surprise manner and I need to run Best Buy? LOL.

I think the 21...  or election day.  Or something.

A tour seems like a lot of effort when you're not sure it'll pan out.  This has to work!  Especially since it didn't work last time... and since they've done a TON more dates, and Axl's done a lot more publically than he ever did in 2002.

The album will be out when this tour has finished ie next year. My guess is around or about Axl's birthday (which is coincidentally on a Tuesday, 6th Feb)

Is that correct? 6th Feb?

I would be stoked if it came out on the 14th of november, as that is the same day i go and see Pearl Jam live in Melbourne. Big musical day for me or what? It wont happen though. Will it be released later here in Australia because our days start earlier than yours i think  :paranoid: making it a wednesday or thursday? anyway, i rekon the 19th of december

From the Del James article it seems that Axl just can't stop tinkering with the album. If they are working on it still then i am not going to get my hopes up for CD release this year.
