Guns N'Roses Vs Velvet Revolver Undenial War..

Iv been reading cd.com every single day, but since i forgot my password in a long time ago... i was to lazy to create another one cause i didnt have time but finally i did and now i can post too lol

anyways my theory is that Velvet Revolver are waiting for Guns N'roses to release their album so they can release theirs and i think thats why they dont give a set up date...

i mean if u checked vr's site, they've been working on a new album since march and since then they didnt update the site...

On the famous Slash interview, where he said CD was coming in either march or april, Slash said their album was coming for sure in 1 of those lines too....the truth is... their album STILL DIDNT COME OUT EITHER!!

Now i know u guys r gonna say that its because matt sorum hurted his arm or something like that... but that couldnt take so much time.... and the fact that velvet revolver made fun of Guns n' Roses in halloween... might indicate that they're still looking for competition... in terms of sales... they wanna test if they can sell as much as their old band...

And prolly AXL is doing the same... waiting for the VR album! Think People! He would attack scott weiland and duff by his management over nothing??

He's looking for controversy and competition... so He can get better sales... thats how the music business works wether is Axl or Motley crue or whatever... its about SALES!

Not that he needs it but cmon.... knowing Axl's Temper, wouldnt it be just a lil fun for him... to see his former band mates.. that trashed the band in Halloween and that prolly in his view betrayed him make less sales than Axl and the New Guns??

the Fact is neither the members in VR neither the members in Guns N'Roses... moved on.... they still think about each other day and night... i mean its been more then 10 years since they broke up and they still launch attacks on each other...

I think Axl will release chidem when he wants and likes and I garantee there's already a release date set.  Chidem will hit shelfs before velvet revolvers cd garantee!!!

i dont know, contraband had pretty good sales didnt it? i have no clue but i mean chidem could come out and its a flop.  never know...vr seem pretty confident in there new stuff too...to me it seems....chidem will kill vr's album ...if it comes out......which i know it will.....

libertad could be four times better than cd but there will still be four times as many people saying velvet who? its undeniable. the name is everything. put it this way, if ringo starr invited three new people and released an album with the name, the beatles, it would be way way more successful than if paul mccartney realeased an album under another name.

yeah. GN'R will sell incredibly well. The song quality (demos) is incredible. I didnt really get into velvet revolver, but i definitely hope both bands do well. SO long as metal/rock lives.

What you say makes some sense.  Here's one for dessert.  Oasis chose 11/21 to release they're album to piss off Axl and force him to bump the date.

well its obvious the GNR album will sell more... at least Chinese Democracy...
But! its not just because of the new band fans! its because of a whole Gnr Fan Base.... but imagine the following albums to be released by the new band.. if they ever make a career with that band ....
because ur failing to realise that even thought GNR r on tour.. theres a lot of people who dunno that...

And i had to explain the whole story after class and stuff...

but anyways.... not everyone knows about this new band!!

and people will only know about this band fully when they have a single on TV And album in stores and some promotion of course....

but when people fully know the band like 5 years after the release of chinese democracy...

Because if u compare the new guns n roses material so far with Velvet Revolver.... im not gonna say Velvet revolver is better.... but I could see a draw....Comparing songs like Slither of course...
And i honestly believe that if Velvet revolver had Sebastian Bach they would prolly even be better than the new gnr....

although i still love axl's voice... and his voice is like my obsession!!

i hate the fact that i cant sing like him when im trying to sing guns n roses songs... but oh well....i guess everyone hates that lol

altough what i heard was just demos so... i cant really judge the new gnr or compare them.....

and besides velvet revolver as nothing to do with the new gnr....
two completely different styles as amazing and suprising as that may sound....


i think scott weiland picking was mostly made by duff... duff comes from seattle (where i live) and seattle is where grunge was born!!
which sux cause i think grunge killed rock n roll....

i think if Bach was chosen as singer velvet revolver would have been an 80's throwback group, and would have been a laughing stock.

also, the grunge killed rock and roll arguement is so tired, wake up, grunge is rock and roll.

and besides velvet revolver as nothing to do with the new gnr....
