What is "Better" about lyrically?

What does everyone think that the song Better is about? Is it a broken relationship, or could it be about Axl's relationship deterioration with Slash and Duff? Discuss....

Don't know, hadn't heard that. Just I always assumed it was about a failed love relationship, in the style and vein that Axl does so well. Then I just noticed that the words would possibly fit the situation with the ex band members. Thought that would be kinda cool.

i think its about the old band and how axl was desvasted by  being left by this partners...
maybe thats why he was at home all this years...and he didnt even appeared at public...
things like this mark a person...

im only saying because of some parts of better... it kinda makes u get the picture..

-maybe axl searching all this year for a solution, to get back in touch with his old friends...

"So bittersweet this tragedy.."
-maybe referring to the tragedy..which was having all the band members, and his wife and since his band members were his friends too, his friends... all in a space of 3 or 4 years... a small place of time..- thats what i call a tragedy...

Thats bound to happen isn't it. As soon as the album is released, all the attention will go away from 'when is it coming out' to 'what does this song mean' and every interview the poor guy does will be having to explain them! I don't know if he'd admit it publicly if it was about the ex band members, but i'd like to think it was.

it seems to me that most of CD is going to be about the old band, breakup, etc. or at least most of the songs we have heard besides CD could be interpreted that way.

i think it about the old band, because look at they lyrics, sure it could be another love/failed relationship song, which we all know Axl has done. But i think its partly about the old band.
