i think he is in alot of shit for sure, i'm worried this will ruin kramer for me when i'm watching reruns.

lmao I saw this was a headline on msn.com. it's so fucking stupid the way they are treating this.

has anyone ever heard of chris rock? or dave chappelle? or carlos mencia? or richard pryor for that matter? they say nigger, cracker, wetback... etc every single time they pic up a mic, and nobody gets offended by it. If chris rock had been interrupted on stage by a white guy and yelled "shut up cracker, you motherfucking cracker" or something like that the place would have just laughed more. just goes to show how fucked up the media and our whole country is. comedians are god damn comedians.

did you watch the video?  he's not doing comedy, he just straight up loses it.  and the comment, ""Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a fucking fork up your ass."  that was way too much.  he wasn't doing it for comedy, he was doing it out of anger, and that is the difference.

in my opinion of course

agreed with LITG.  if 2 white guys interupted Dave Chapelle, and he called 'em crackers and then the white d00ds called Dave a nigger, they'd be the ones in trouble.

and black people like...always call eachother niggas.

ohhh ya,  i guess thats just one of those things, if you're black you can use it, if you're not you can't.   plus its used it a different way in rap, michael richards was using it to put someone down (and he's white, double whammy)

here's the bottom line. If 1 person can say something, then nobody should be able say it. Regardless of race, religion or whatever. and that, my friends, is true equality. that  guy that they interviewed doesn't want equality and tolerance, he wants to be treated special and for people to tip-toe around his feelings because of his race.

ideally you're right, no one should use it or everyone should use it.  but its widely accepted as a derogatory word, and is not ok to insult someone using it.  he could have yelled at the guy or called him names in general, but as soon as he starts calling him names based on the colour of his skin it crosses the line.
