anyways, to answer your question, i think it would probably be better with robin playing it since he wrote it.  that said, i also prefer the way that slash plays all the old songs.  sure the new band plays them well, but its just not the same to me (read: not as good) as when slash played them.

GNR have a huge apeal to people who like things like the rolling stones or indie kids into oasis, stone roses, the fucking beatles etc etc.

Better is gonna totaly alienate alot of people except metal heads. So I really hope this isnt the first single!!

slash will always be my favorite guitar player, he's an icon. i'd love to see him play I.R.S. or Better,...i'd love to see Slash instead of Ron or any of the other guys. but ah well, we'll just have to accept it.
