i got to admit i became a fan through vma 2002 arrival .. i thought these guys were the originals  but then i found out about slash....but im still like slash who ...new guns rock  ... :unibrow:

No, but I'd been following very close since 1999.
Went nuts on the msg boards when VMAs hit.

I think we were all kidding ourselves about his voice then.  Though, it did seem better for the new songs back then, that's what we said.  Kidding ourselves, really.

Anyway, it was crazy when the Hammerstein shows happened because the reports were "HE'S GOT RASP!"  :D

People that became fans in 02 are the same fans that are claiming that this isn't GNR without Buckethead. Doesn't that claim sound familiar? hmmm I just can't place it.
