the author is a ass stabber who needs to get his facts straight. that being said if axl continues to tour on an album that for whatever reason he wont release then the piont of career suicide is really not far off point. axl and management have both said this year and the number of tuesdays are dwindling fast. I am a long time fan but the time is now for him to shit or get off the pot or his credibility will be shit outside us hardcore fans. i am still holding out hope and love the new material and the new band is great and his voice seems to have improved so axl drop cd dammit

Seriously, he doesnt know the band or when the members joined, he doesnt know anything about the EODM incident, and he posts a picture of Axl Rose from 2002, Axl lost the botox, and the jersey's. axl rose is technically and coldly proving the world that he, and only him, represents integrity.

the fact that people are writing hundreds of articles about how ridiculous he is, shows only one thing : axl wins.

he has been doing what he wants for 10 years now.
and that blows any criticism you could ever write about his botoxed face.

The Sex Pistols lasted what was it? 3 years? and in that time produced 1 album and pleanty of other songs here and there that will be immortalised forever. Guns N' Roses have now not released an album for 10+ years, they are still going solely for Axl to say "GNR is my band". While the Sex pistols came in, wrecked the place and left, GNR has came in, wrecked the place and sat on their arses for a decade. Axl should understand that this is not GNR it is a side project, why couldn't he see what PiL did and rename it something edgy and cool? He is just using the GNR name for attention, and sadly, he is tarnishing the name.

I'll give credit for Axl producing those new songs, but lets not forget that there is no concrete evidence that there will EVER be an album should 2006 float by. Even the ones we love the most (TWAT and Catcher) are heavily influenced by guitar players not even in the band, they wrote a part of a song and were dumped. Whatever happened to Brian May playing in London? Exactly.

Actually your wrong. The album could be release by the end of the year. Do you really expect GN'R or whoever there label is now to come out and say "GUESS WHAT TEH ALBUM IS DONES LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL"? No, the promotion will begin any day now. It'll probably start a week before the album is released. And besides, it's not like everyday you see a commercial on TV for a new CD, I hardly ever see them.

The album will be out by the end of the year.

If it never happens, there is enough material on the net to keep me happy, and even in its low quality its still better than most of the crap thats put out and promoted these days. Id rather listen to a scratchy version of Better than anything System of the Down puts out any day.

everyone needs to relax.  i don't think this guy even gets paid.  most writers on websites like this don't.  and he did say it was a rant (i.e. an opinion piece!).  sure he didn't research things very well, but everyone going crazy just makes us all look like blind followers.

You're right about this Slashist. But I'm not angry because of what this guy said about Axl, it's Axl problem (or not). I guess we're all used to read comments like this. What pissed me off is the way he bashed GNR fans.

Anyone has the right of liking or not a band or an artist, and maybe write his personal opinion, except for professional reporters whom should not be partial (it's supposed).
But no "reporter" has the right of making fun/mock  of other people preferences (music or whatever).

So this is the reason why think that if this guy is hired by anyone, I would like to email his boss. But probably, as you said, he's not hired by anyone and he just writes crap in the web.

Seriously, how can this guy make fun of the way Axl Rose looks, he had botox, yes in fucking 2001. It's been 5 years since then, and it's gone now. He looks just like he did on the UYI tour now, and his voice is extremely better. On the older UYI tour video's, after running around, in songs like "Yesterdays" it seemed to show in his voice that he got tired. Now, in the 2006/2007, the show I saw, his voice was brilliant threw the entire 2 hours GN'R was playing.

Besides, since when the hell does some idiot with no life, who will never live up to ANYTHING close to Axl, who works and rant's on his crappy little website witch looks like crap, get to poke fun at Axl Rose? He doesnt get the right to say this kinda crap, who the hell is he?
