I am sure Ron can play what BH can. Esp in a studio setting where Ron can try a few times to get it down perfect, where as live he just has one shot to get it right

You sir, need to get out and get some much needed fresh air!!!  Why can't people just accept the fucking CD for whatever it is going to be and stop with these moronic fucking "I wish it were this way" kind of posts!!?  It's fucking Axl's album and, ultimately HE WILL decide who is/isnt on it.

i think people need to shift their mindsets a little to it being "the band's album." Yes, Axl has been working on it the longest, but there is a complete band here. It's not just Axl Rose. Of course Axl will make many final decisions, but don't count out what the others have to say about various aspects of the final product.

I also want bumble on the CD... cause he's in the band and deserves to be on it.. plus he's a great player!

but honestly... hearing TWAT... I dont want that solo of bucket to be replaced.. cause thats one killer stuff that BH pulled there...

you cant say that Ron cant play Bucketheads machine solo's, they are two different virtuoso guitarists that have their own unique sound, i like Buckethead very much and his Nighttrain solo and TWAT final solo was great, but i prefer Ron as a whole, until we hear the album, we cant judge Ron as being less abled than Bucket.

I want Ron on cd and i am glad that he will be contributing.

people seem to forget that Ron could just re-record BH's parts eg the TWAT solo - it would sound exactly the same just would feature and actual member.

Im all for it really - as long as the quality is still there (which it will be) - not that we'd know though!

Stop comparing Buckethead with Bumblefoot?

Buckethead is a far more original and creative guitarist. No matter what you all say, Bumblefoot is not as fast or precise as Buckethead, That's because they're two different msuicians who play two different styles of guitar.

Nevertheless, it doesn't matter.. The album will be Axl's.

bumblefoot better not of replaced buckets guitar solos cause bumble foot cant pull of the machine like bucketheaed stuff...pluss frank sucks cause the fat muma juma plays with candy cane not sticks like brain does...

first off, if u watch the only live perfomance of TWAT, bumble doesn't do the solo as good as bucket recorded it, he does it better (trust me, i've played it too  ;) )

u say bumble can't replicate bucket's machine sound, but the honest truth is that the machine sound is why music wise bucket was a bad fit fo Gn'R (that and the fact that he sticks out of the bad like a sore thumb image wise). yes, he is an amazing guitarist, but his preciseness is almost the anti of the emotion filled and leaned back sound of Gn'R. Bumble works perfect because he mixes petrucci sound with satriani/vai/slash emotion and musicality into his solos.

and to say that brain is better than frank is arguable, but probably true. to say that frank sucks is bullshit. there is absolutly nothing that brain did that frank is doing. in fact, it didn't take frank as long to nail the YCBM intro as it took brain (it doesn't matter, sorum owns both when it comes to that song)

It's Guns N'Roses album because of the name, but in reality the whole album concept was Axl's idea, way before he met any of the current band members...?
