What could of happen if

Hey Guys :

hope you guys find this topic interesting. My question its very simple, What could of happend if the Guns N Roses original line-up never broke up. Do you think they would still kicking ass in this days? Or maybe they coud had experience something like what happend to Metallica (since the black Album they didnt where as good as before and now they are crap)

You know,... I saw a Ozzy Interview a couples years ago, and when they asked him about GNR, he said Quote: they could have been even greater than the Rolling Stones for godÂs sake.

Thats a really tough question, I would like to say that they would have still kicked serious ass, but there are so many factors to consider. If axl and slash still werent talking and the band still didnt get along great, then i think the bands music would suffer, but if they got along then they would still kick ass. Its just a hard question.

i think they would've taken a break and done solo projects like Slash was doing with Snakepit.. then got back together to make another album "ChiDem" which would've been released around 99/00 and they would've toured it a bit then done another album which would've received by now. and now be touring the 2nd album... ya gotta remember that although people say CD has been 14 years in the making, we don't know how much of the 14 years WAS spent on the album. i mean on the Robert John interview Axl says "We're working on new stuff" or something to that effect and that was during the UYI tour, so it has been in the making for longer but i don't think full time. Axl said in the statement theres been alot of legalities. this could've taken a heavy chunk of the years, especially when the group first split.. i wouldn't be surprised if the album in total had only been worked on 7-10 years of the 14 years supposedly down.

Breaking up was the best thing that ever happened to GNR.  Otherwise we'd have Axl singing to Contraband.  We all know Chin Dem will blow that out of the water.  They were in a downward spiral with TSI and Live Era, you can't deny that.

Axl is the key, if they didnt broke up and they continue being a band will they release an album every year or every 2 years or 4 years? it all depends on Axl and about being better than the Stones, they released at  least one album each year from 1964-1983

I don't know, if GNR hadn't broken up (and stayed on the trajectory they were going), that would have been them - on stage, and butchering their own songs...
