Ok, I have been of this opinion for a long time now, but up until now we've had news to fill this section so i didn't bother, anyway, would anyone agree with me in saying that Robin and richard should switch solos for November Rain? I love the way Finck did it back at RIR3, and he doesn't really do that well on the 2nd solo, so maybe they should switch the two..

I realise I'll end up flamed for this, but I love the way Finck changed it to waht it was at RIR3.. Honestly, I'd rate it above Richard or Slash's version simply because Richard's is too straight forward and Slash's always sounded... kinda too high pitched? I dunno.. He just never sounded right with me, especially with songs like Estranged, but that might just be because of over production, I guess..

Finck's solo always has and always feel stuttered and poorly played. It lacks the intricacy and overall of Slash's version.

Finck's bends are way too over dramatic and it feels like his progressions are wrong. Emotion is a subjective thing but Finck's version lacks the passion and emotion of Slash's.

I really liked what he does with the first solo but I also love the way he does the second one...seems like im the only one tho lol

I like both of Robin's NR solos... but I do agree his first one sounds better in this video  :nod:

damn he really nailed the first solo in RIR3... didn't really remember! tough question, they both rocks... i like the way he does the second solo now  :retard:

Wow, no flaming!?

I didn't actually expect anyone to agree, thought you'd maybe flame Robin for not following the plan for a few seconds of the solo :lol:

Anyway, I hope to hear robin play this again, he was kinda low in the mix at the start of the solo, which kinda leaves me wanting more.. :crybaby:

I always thought Finck's RIR 3 solo is the most emotional of all NR solos, and he has never managed to replay it fully after that show.

I like what he does with that first solo, but Fortus wasnt there then so...

I like every solo Robin does, and i think his second solo slot is great too, so its fine how it is really.

to be honest  I don't really like what he did to both of the solo's (1st and 2th one), Richard however plays the first solo perfectly...
