In Scotland, we dont belive in Gods of any kind. So we dont have to pay our money to buildings of lies!

The thinh with norway is that it's the richest county in the world because of the oil, ut the goverment doesn't use the money, just stores them. Wasn't the last goverment kicked out of goverment in the elections because of this?

And as Slashist said, we do pay high taxes for this. The taxes after the recent changes in the social security has been lowered plenty, but only for people who has jobs and gets by anyway.   Unemployed still pay taxes.  

And a relly don't belive that a good unemplymnets security keeps people from work. People in sweden thinks so and that it kind of the reason we have a new goverment in the first place. I belive hat people gest unemployed because there is no jobs. Canada sems to have have a more generous welfare-system than the US though...

In Germany the unemployment payments and social help payments have been lowered some time ago. Since then the unemployment rate is constantly declining   . Many people were against it when they first brought up the law but it helped a lot. Economy has a strong growth now too (although thats not only because of that law).

That we have these companies isn't a guarante that they give jobs. The SonyEricsson phones isn't constructed in Sweden, the ikea-furniture isn't constructed in sweden and H&Ms clothes isn't made in sweden. So i couldn't care less about those companies, the only thing they do is complaining kind of like "It it to expensive to hire someone is sweden". In the same time all those companies that you are refering to makes hundreds of billions in profit. It could be different if those companies where owned by the state itsealf, as you might know the Swedish giverment is alredy owner of a couple of HUGE companies, that's generating profit that goes directly to the state. Those money the politicians then can use to build roads, hospital, lower taxes or whatever. "Abslout Vodka" is a brand owned by the swedish state just to mention a small part.

However, the new goverment has declared that they intend to sell of many of the companies that generates good profits for the state, and thats fucking retarded. The only thing that WILL happen is that the cmpanies headquarters risks to move out of the country creating unemplymnet. In the same time the goverment will recive a temporary boost of money that  will run out quickly  :angry:
