Axl Rose article in an Australian Newspaper
« on: January 07, 2007, 03:13:58 AM »
Hey all i have been reading and visiting this forum for just over a year but this is my first post.  Just thought I would let you all know that there was a two page article on Axl Rose in the Sunday Telegraph today.  The Sunday Telegraph is a Sydney newspaper.  Basically the article is about How Axl Rose has wasted $17 Million.  It was an article that has already been posted on here before which was a report by Mick Wall and at the end it mentions the book WAR: W. Axl Rose, The Unauthorised Biography by Mick Wall and will be released in May.

It was a very negative article though towards him.  But I guess thats Mick Wall for you.  It had pics of him from the MTV Music awards in 2002, Old band photo from the very early times, an old Axl photo from late 80's, pic of Slash, pic of Stephanie Seymour and a pic of Axl performing in Budapest last year.  But good to see that they are in the public eye now even in Australia.  Publicity is publicity.  Only reason I bought the paper was because of this article.

Nah I am pretty sure it wasn't written just for this paper.  I am sure I read it from a link on here sometime late december. But still good to see an article about Guns N Roses.  2 pages of article as well!  Seems very rare in Australia.

It was probably the same one that was in the Mail on Sunday here in England, just Mick Wall trying to promote his book.

In some shit magazine about the demands of the stars there were these two lines about how Axl always wants roasted lamb in his dressing room or something.

And they had a picture from last years tour

They're always gonna be in the back of everyone's minds as 'the band that wrote Sweet Child' so to me, they're still one of the biggest.. GN'R will never be forgotten :)

Nope its called being realistic. If it was 199-1996 it would be a different story. Maybe your too young to see that

nah i aint to young to see that, I understand, but now when we are closer then ever, and a full year of touring, and a letter from Axl for proof,

you just now start to complain? Pretty funny how you probably didnt complain a few years ago when the signs weren't nearly half as good as what they are now..

Doesn't sound like im the young one.... ;)
