well to be honest Pele could probably still play in the MLS today

And I'm not really sure I buy the idea that Beckham is washed up just yet, for all the criticism he got at the world cup over the summer, England only scored 1 goal in the tournament that he didn't either score or have a direct assist. I'd compare his move to the one Beckenbauer made to America, not done yet, but definitely going for the money
