Grabbed this from HTGTH

"I had an advance listen to 4 of the songs today. They are the fuckest hardest shit I have ever heard the band do, and this album is going to be huge.

But, the buzz inside those who know that Axl has just gone back to the label for more money, holding out the album. It's coming down in 2007, but a few more months than before.

Mark my words. This will be the biggest selling album this year, bar none. I don't even know what's coming out past June off the top of my head, but more people will buy this than Radiohead or anything else out. "

Damn you. January was meant to be sober but I fell at the first hurdle.

I am going to not drink and be really productive. I am gonna build churches in botswana, irrigate the sahara, solve world hunger and then have a beer.

I must admit I have had a few ciders so I don't go cold turkey but I have been drunk.

To be honest I don't want to be drunk anymore.

Yeah it suck if you are the only sober one and all your mates are pissoed. They become very annoying very quickly. If you are sober in a room full of drunk people it is hilarious.

Being sober definately has a time and place.

And here we have the duality of man, while under the influence.

I have a friend we call Spittle Simon because he is a little chap and when he gets drunk he spits on people by accident when he talks. It's really funny seeing how new people react to him when he is drunk....... You see fear in there eyes.

I don't have any problems with this anymore, being myself sober. I actually enjoy people being under the influence more, than dealing with them in a normal state-of-mind. They get a brighter view, which is easier for me talking to them, than them being sober and 'short-framed-minded'.
