"Official" Chinese Democracy update

Official site updated. Del James lets us know that the recording is completed and they are mixing now.

No official date yet. Well, march 6th is out of question (surprise!).

P.S. There's a photo of Frank and Ron on the front page! It's not just AXL anymore!

Chinese Democracy' update

The good news is that all of the recording for the album has been completed. Drummer Frank Ferrer and guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal integrated themselves into the recordings seamlessly and will have their presence felt.

There is no official release date, as the band is currently mixing, but after some delays and scheduling difficulties, things appear to be moving along.

This is a step in the right direction. Mixing may take months to complete so there is not much hope of a soon release, but it's good that Del James has something helpful to say to fans for a change.

FUCK yeah :rockon:..... Bummer album not being out sooner though,but at least we know its at least "soon" :lol:

more excuses......they had aprox. 8 years since 1999, yet there's still delays...

i guess im gonna turn to a band who really puts albums out without the delays like Nine Inch Nails!

they're two songs available online now from the new album year zero are just freaking awesome!
