Worst Song?

I know we are all massive GnR fans (obviously!) but I was wondering if there was a particular song that you really just didn't like by GnR, you see I never really liked Anything Goes, I always thought it was a bit shit to be honest and I just wonder if they'd of put another song in its place whether AFD would of........dare I say it........ been even better?

They could of either put Don't Cry, You Could Be Mine, or maybe Ain't Goin Down on AFD and it would of been better.

But as far as the worst song is, in my mind it's easily, My World. Also it's closley followed by Silkworms and Anything Goes

I was gonna suggest Don't Cry as an alternative to Anything Goes, i think that would have obviously made it a stronger album and I'd like to have seen how they would have recorded it as a five piece band with a much smaller budget, I think it might have rocked a bit more!

It does rock much more, the main guitar has a little bit more distortion and Axls voice is more flat. It's a little bit shorter, not much. Also the only negitive is during the solo theres a spoken part thats pretty cheesy. Overal i rank it like this... Alt. Lyrics UYI Version >AFD Version>UYI Version

nah dude, I Think Dont cry was a much better fit for uyis overall feel, though its a better song than anything goes, I dont think it was an appetite song.  It could be put on any cd it wanted to, I think uyi was a perfect fit for it. Plus the whole trilogy thing would be outta whack if it was on afd.

I don't like you're crazy too - but only the vesion from the AFD.
The live versions from CBGB (1987) or from Fox Late Night Show (1988) are terrific.
It's as if you were listening to two completely different songs.
