I also have a high tolerance for horror films, due to the fact it seems i have been desensitized towards violence and gore at a young age, i'd personally recommend asian/japenese horror, they do a lot of fucked up stuff.

Horror films never really bothered me even when i was a kid but the film I thought
was quite scary was arachnephobia because i have a fear of spiders.

house on haunted hill...i think that's the title but i'm not sure, i saw it late at night on tv once (there are two before the crappy catherine zeta jones one)

Alien, just coz it's the single greatest movie ever made

Um, can't really think of anything that's scary, films like A Tale Of Two Sisters are a bit of a mindfuck, but not really scary, like someone said the Japanese and Korean route is the only way to go.

Also, although its not really a horror, the last minute of the film 'Dont look now' is probably one of the scariest things i have seen

Audition rules, but in a more sort of crazy violence Takashi Miike, Ichi The Killer kinda way than a real horror movie

I actually find Battle Royale kinda scary (not freaked scary, but when you sit down and think after it's over) coz of how mundane some of the people in it are, it shows you how quickly society can break down and that put in the same situation you'd probably do exactly the same thing and start killing people too.
