Why Axl hate Slash

Ok to end the debate of a possible reunion or whatever, or Slash an Axl Comunicating or something. I truly beleive that its over between them and AXl you look up for your self.

i too agree with axl. not to come down on the old guys, but i think duff and slash just wanted to be in a rockin' band-nothing more nothing less.  there is nothing wrong that and they seem happy in VR(their fans seem to like it as well). the problem with their mentality(in my eyes) is GNR is much more than just a rockin band...they have always pushed the limits(musically) of what the public viewed them as. when bands were working very hard at being pretty, here came a dark, ugly, dirty, sleazy animal. it was only after LIES that 'unplugged' albums became common and popular. no other bands had the ability to pull off a November Rain, Estranged, or Locomotive. no other bands released 2 full double length albums on the same day and entered the charts at 1 and 2. the illusion tour was one of the longest(if not THE LONGEST) tours of all time....in a world filled with 'rockin' bands...there is only ONE GUNS N ROSES!
if people did some research, they could find quotes from both slash and duff saying the follow up album to UYI I and II would not have ANY BALLADS. such mentality would have taken away such songs as 'the blues', 'catcher in the rye' or even 'madagascar'.
sure it has taken axl forever to put this album out, but i don't care.....he is still using the name guns n roses.....and i would never want it cheapened by mediocre music(like the songs on the snakepit albums or VR). the few new gnr songs i have heard(from the leaks), i have loved....i was 19 when the illusion albums came out....i am 35 now....my life will continue on....when the album comes out(and it will), i'll buy it, but i am not putting anything on hold waiting for it. it'll come when it comes. as axl proved to me years ago, and on tour last year...he has a vision(one that i have enjoyed so far), and it is to be MUCH MUCH more than just another 'rockin' band.

i love slash and his work with slash's snakepit, slash's blues balls and vevet revover.
Axl got too egotistic but i still admire him. Slash and Axl have went into different directions
and i have accepted that the old gnr(that can never be beaten)will not get back together,
but that would be some reunion.

the old band put out some of the best songs ever made, but it seems that some of them only made it because Axl pushed the others to do it. It may come across as egotistical, but if it was up to Slash and Duff, we would have never heard SCOM or November Rain. Now how messed up is that? I'm glad that he's got much less resistance in this band against his musical visions. They all seem like they work well together, and are willing to listen to what Axl's got to say since he's proven that he deserves the credibility that he is now getting. He knows what a good song sounds like. He always has. He'll release some new, good tunes. They don't have to be of epic proportions, but it'll be a good album. Yeah, many will say "not 13 years good" but let's not even open that can of worms because it goes nowhere. It's not meant to be "13 years good." It'll be GN'R good, though. If you don't like it at first, I'm sure as anything that it will grown on you. Just wait until it comes out, and stop speculating.



And lastly, stop bitching or go buy the last New Found Glory CD, I'm sure you'll enjoy that.

you guys are right but it was the mixture.Without Axl alot of good songs wouldn't have been realised. But without the band alot of good songs wouldn't have had the players to make them great songs.

Basically that's the truth of it. When Slash formed snakepit and started getting alot of good reviews it freaked Axl out. People started ignoring Axl on stage and just watching Slash. And I know this for a fact i seen them in 95 just before they broke up. Slash was the star and Axl being the titty baby he is got jealous. Either way it goes Slash was all the talent to me and without him this new album although it may be good it won't be great because it just doesn't have the true style of GnR in my mind . Don't get me wrong I love axl but I love Slash 20 times as much. He's been my idol ever since I was 8 years old. A reunion between the 2 could prove to be a huge breakthrough for GnR right now. Definetly fan wise that is. Axl keeps losing fans because he won't put this stupid album out.

Not to get off the subject (I agree with Axl too), but looking at him in that clip; He looks so much better today, healthier, slimmer, without that doo, and those jerseys to cover excess weight...

The truth is Axl was losing his leadership in the band, Slash was the Guitar-Hero, he was extremely popular and had a lot of power. Axl didn'nt stand that. He wanted all the control. And that's what's happening now, Axl has 100% of the power, he hired a backing band, employees, with zero power and zero influenced, he pushed them in the back onstage, he controls them and he does what the fuck he wants. If someone desagrees ----> Fired.
