thats not true, i can't prove it, but you can't prove there from 02 either. as far as we know these demos are from the dark days of 2005 or 2004. The fact that in the madagascar demo Axl's voice sounds 'weak' or sounds like the 01-02 Axl proves nothing. Think about it, the studio can make some one like Axl sound as good as he wants, no matter what his voice is like.
