Why they never did it
« on: April 03, 2007, 01:41:54 AM »
This is one question thats been buggin me for a longtime,  and after watching KORN do some Umplugged, I asked my self. Why the old GNR band never did something like that, Nirvana did, Korn did, I think old GNR had enought material to do some umplugged performance, back in the time. And do you think if this new band rise and make some albums could they make a umplugged performance?

Yeah, it would've been cool if they'd done a full MTV Unplugged set. I'm picturing Lies (well, maybe not One In A Million!), Cornshucker, a reworked SCOM, Paradise City, Mr Brownstone... a few Stones covers, maybe.

New and old Gn'r have both done Acoustic, "Unplugged" shows if ya like in the past. Old Gn'R did CBGB's acoustically and New Gn'R held the small acoustic gig after one of the shows in the UK.

I could see them do a real cool toned down so to speak version of SCOM. That would be cool.

GNR is a kick ass hard rock band in no way would I want them to do an unplugged concert for what? Keep it real and keep it rocking!

How about a VH1 Storytellers, like Pearl jam did, or Green Day, that would be awesome with the new album, with Axl talking about each track and its meaning before doing either an acoustic or normal version
