I also wanted to touch base on the ever growing question of more 'Country' languages for forums in the international GNR section. A concern was that the boards would be generally empty - that doesnt look good at all. Another concern is how the layout would look with so many boards.
I discussed some ideas with sladdi and we will come up with a total solution after the holidays. So I guess next week we'll work on this. We'll also see about adding language packs that can be selected for your language. We will see.
Moderators or more Soldiers and Captains: We hope to be able to bring more into the family. It is a very hard decision to make for me personally. I don't like so many moderators for many reasons and having less has benefited this forum more within our unique structure. but I do think we need a couple more. I have a couple people in mind. and will be implemented after holiday.
Ranks: Still not completed - but I think you see the theme. We are a unique family at CD.COM. The talent that surrounds this site is limitless and not stale. CD.COM seems to get it right most of the time with everything.
more ranks will be added and adjusted. You can suggest some too. Some people don't care about ranks and this is fine,but some like to play the game and in many cases the theme is true. You are basically making your way up the ranks to be trusted to our family. We want to trust you to make this place glow even more and to help us grow. You can ask questions here too.
