i find it insulting!!!  someone with a name
 not only with 1) the middle name of one of Americas worst enemies (Hussein)
2) a last name that sounds like Americas worst enemy. (Osama)
would even consider running for president.. If he gets elected the Muslim
world is going to consider this as winning a battle.. It will only
embolden (sp?) them.  He is a disgrace....... wtf makes him think he is qualified
to run anyway...

i think people are intelligent enough to distinguish between Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and Barack Obama.

I think he should of held off and I do think he is taking advantage of his
color and his muslim name, (ie.. the Michael  Moore crowd) whether he practices or not, he was
named after Saddam Husseim... For Christs sake his name has muslim

Now, I know certain of the Americans around here are terrible fond of throwing the constitution at me whenever you want to prove that it's all fine and peachy to walk into a school and shoot the place up, or to prove what a wonderful country they have.  So allow me now to point to the First Amendment and what Thomas Jefferson would later refer to as the 'separation of church and state'. 

As much as you may not like to hear it, that very same constitution that gives you the right to bear arms also makes it clear that you live in a secular country, not a Christian one.  Any candidate's religious background has absolutely nothing to do with their suitability to hold office whatsoever.

Hussein is a popular name in some areas.  it has nothing to do with Saddam.

Just admit it that you have problems with his skin colour, you've insulted every other part of him why not just be honest. If you have a problem with someones name then you really are the lowest common denominator of society.
