can you clue me in on this? llike just what is the basic premise of the film?
from what i remember, half the movie is like an episode of the colbert report where they interview people, make fun of them, and twist their words and viewpoints around to be funny.  the rest of the movie they go around to conferences pretending to be big companies after they make fake websites impersonating companies, and then they say as much absurd shit as they can to drive the company's stock down and look bad

basically the movie is about 2 retards constantly confusing corporatism and capitalism

sounds like it'd make me chuckle at least. basically they are trolling in the real world. pretending to be sincere but honestly just trying to say things that they obviously can't be stupid enough to believe just to piss people off. like madison does to us

what they did to the BBC and DOW is priceless.   well cost a company billions on an anniversary from where the company took no responsibility for a gas spill that for years after killed and deformed many people and children even to this day. for this reason alone it was worth it. Something stupid about that? no -  it got recognition where otherwise its brushed under the rug. Big corps hide shit and should be exposed.

Toy Story 3. very good, but not quite reaching the heights of Toy Story 1 and 2.

Spanish Buzz is fucking hilarious though.

Toy Story 3 is fantastic. Still prefer the first one though.

Splice, pretty good actually. Not quite what i was expecting and has a few "shock" moments in it too.

Kind of dissapointed by Inception.

It was good but not as good as everyone is making out.

In my opinion The Prestige was a little above average at best. It could have done with some much sterner editing though.  And for me Memento is one of the most over-rated films of all time.  He basically lifted an idea straight from Irreversible (revenge story played out in reverse), tried to turn it into a clever trick and then spent the next 90 minutes trying to work out what to do with the situation he'd set up.  All in all I just don't think Nolan is that fantastic, has the potential but is yet to deliver on it.

Yet to see Inception, so I can't comment on it.

Saw Inception yesterday.  Also rewatched Batman Begins and The Dark Knight recently, so, Nolan...

I actually liked Inception more than I thought it would (perhaps because I was expecting to hate it and it turned out to be decent enough), it's a solid movie; not perfect, some bits just didn't work at all for me, and there were some bits where the Nolan had quite clearly just confused himself and got things wrong, but overall I enjoyed, which is after all the whole point in the movie.  Great concept, fairly well executed, very good cast, so a good film overall.

Batman Begins was fucking wicked though.  I'd forgotten how much I liked that film.

The Other Guys
Really liked it. Thought it was a funny satire of American economics and also fresh take on buddy cop movies.
I like it when Will Ferrell restrains himself, otherwise it just devolves into him acting like an idiot, so liked his performance here.
Michael Keaton was awesome as usual. That guy needs more work.

Dinner for Schmucks
Was surprised by the emotional aspect of the movie, which I thought was cool, but not super funny so I was disappointed. A couple of really funny parts though.

Death at a Funeral
Outside of James Marsden being awesome at acting, what a crappy movie. Huge waste of talent.

Goodbye, Blue Sky......... Goodbye.
