Yeah i do agree a little about the assaisins creed comment. I can see them making another although as to keep the film fresh and interesting and new they should use a different director for the next film as to give someone else's take on it will be good, for example the harry potter films or alien.

I've seen lots of films lately:

Sherlock Holmes: Went on a bit. I hope the sequel with Moriarty is better. 7/10

The ugly truth: Great film. I hope Gerard Butler is the new Bond. He'd own that character 8/10

Knocked up: Also very funny. 8/10.

saw Daybreakers recently - enjoyable for what it was - interesting twist on the vampire franchise.

Avatar (3D) - pretty good, not my fav. Camerson film, storyline was a bit obvious and re-hashed but the characters were good, the settings were fantastic and i like long movies!

Million Dollar Baby - twice in the past of ive seen the ending on TV, but never seen all of it before. Fantastic film.

Sunnyp, you'll be please to know i have Shawshank on DVD waiting to be watched someone this week - finally!!

Moons... That's good news. Allow 10 minutes quiet time after the film, so don't rush off anywhere. Actually, if I big it up, you'll probably be disappointed...... It's not that special, just some blokes on a film. That's all.

Oh yeah, Gran Torino is superb: 9/10

As The Lovely Bones is undoubtedly the shittest book ever to have been published, and manages to combine sickening schmalziness with a kinda worrying tacit approval (approval isn't actually the correct word hear, but my vocab's not working very well tonight, acceptance isn't quite what i'm looking for either) of rape and adultery in one package for teenage girls to swoon over (although I hear the sex bits might have been taken out of the film version) I shall not be setting foot within several hundred metres of anywhere showing it as I've already decided in my own mind that there's no way it can be anything other than fucking awful.

Haha, wow.  I'm on fire today...

Seriously, I have no idea how non-native English speakers manage to post coherently, or speak coherently to us, I've gone like 2 months of not really speaking English that often (although still probably using it at some point every day) and my ability to use the language properly is disintegrating before my eyes.

I'm going to be completely illiterate, with the speaking ability of a 3 year old when I go back to the UK.

The Lovely Bones was alright. Certain parts were visually engrossing, but I was hoping Jackson was can it the
moment it was announced. With the poor reviews and performance it's being rushed out of theatres for damage control. Sad.
Also he needs to get some new writing partners or at least take a break from his wife and Phillipa.

I'm pumped/anxious about Shutter Island. It looks really unique and a ballsy movie for Scorsese to take on, so hopefully that risk pays off.
Most of his best movies aren't the real flashy ones and this one looks particularly flashy so I'm kinda worried about that.

There's really no movie I'm that amped about. A bunch of remakes and other wankery. The best thing that could happen is a bunch of the
studio heads getting murdered so we can get back to real artistry in cinema. But then again, like everything in this country, it's just a cheap knockoff
of what has been going on in Europe for centuries.

Goodbye, Blue Sky......... Goodbye.

Shutter Island looks fantastic. Plenty of Hitchcock's styles and references too apparently. Awesome. Hitchcock is still my favouriite director of all time.
