I watched The Freedom Writers' Diaries on the plane the other day. Don't bother to watch it. It's predictable, full of topics and you're fed up with Hillary Swank (sorry if the spelling's wrong) 5 minutes after the film's begun.

Bad Education
City of God
Kill Bill (I know I shouldn't, but I just love it)
Metropolis
Oldboy
Requiem For a Dream
Whisper of the Heart

couldn't rank them, so I just put them in alphabetical order

THE STILL LIFE (Sanxia haoren in chinese, is that a translation ycagwyw?)

Didnt see it yet, it comes out tomorow in France, and it is supposed to be A MASTERPIECE
The kind of movies that comes once every 10 years, like Murnau's faust, Imemura's Narayama bushiko or else ..

So if it comes out in your country: go.

I love the comedies starred by Rock Hudson. His fauvorite game is the one I love best. And the three ones with Doris Day are very good, too. I also love Don't eat the daysies :)
Comedies in that time were very good. They had charm.
