That kid from Holes and Disturbia.... Shia Labeouf???? is in it. Harrison Ford almost left the project when the actors union made him use a CG whip instead of the real thing. I think they relented and he's back, wielding a real whip.

  Good fact finding.

May 08 release apparently!

Watched 'Layer Cake' last night for the first time in ages cos it was on telly. Good film.

You can see an early Bond in the making in Daniel Craig in that film. He pulls off the smart suited look, the casual look and the blacked out balaclava ninja look very well in that film.

Watched "bobby" last night on dvd. About Robert Kennedy's assassination.

Good film, goes on a bit. Loads of cameos and great cast. all in all about 6.5/10.

Last night I did a Darren Aronofsky marathon and watched Pi and Requiem for a Dream back to back

2 of my favourite films, but I think it was all a bit too much for one sitting really.

But just picked up Pan's Labyrinth and Kagemusha from the HMV sale, so will blast through at least one of them tonight for some light relief

Oh my dear lord Pi and then Requiem for a dream back to back.

Is Kagemusha that old school Japanese film about samurai's?

Does anyone like Kubrick movies?

I saw The Shining, A Clockwork Orange and Eyes Wide Shut. I liked The Shining the best so far. Jack Nicholson is such a greate actor. I'm going to see 2001: A Space Odyssey and Full Metal Jacket next week. Anyone saw it?

I wonder how would A.I.: Artificial Intelligence look like if Kubrick didn't die. Much better than Spilberg version I belive.

I've seen 2001 a space odyssey. Pity I read the book first cos it didn't live up to it really. Still a great film but the book is fantastic.

Full metal jacket is a good war film! Out of interest, the person that played the drill sergeant character was actually a drill sgt in real life in Vietnam. All of his lines were improvised for authenticity and shock value.

yes, and yes.  The double header was probably about the heaviest thing I've ever sat through.  I absolutely love both movies, but not too sure they should be watched back to back without a break.
