Saw "Sicko" a few days ago. "Bowling for Columbine" is still my favorite, but Sicko was very funny. Wonder if he got the goverment to do his laundry yet?

Just saw "The Simpsons Movie"... that is just awesome. i swear, animation perfection. but what more could we expect of a writing team consisting of mainly writers from the earlier series.

i love the fact that people think they tried a whole new animation technique that looks majorly complex and amazing when all they did was add shadows

Anyone seen "Duel" by Steven Spielberg? That's called the great old classic. Or Close encounters...
I really loved Fear and loathing in Las Vegas (J. Depp & B. del Torro) - cool!!!

Duel f'n Rocks. i LOVE that movie. so well made and the fact that you never see the driver of the truck is sweet too. like something out of a stephen king novel of the devil truck or something haha

Yeah, the worst horror is the one you can't see, just your imaginations works. Once it comes out of the shadows, you're disappointed because you realize that it's not that bad. The worst things are always in your imagination.

So yeah I just watched Transformers and I can't actually fault it in any way.

I rarely give 10/10 to action films but this one was just too good.

Nice mix of action, comedy, love story. Something for everyone.

10/10

I had a few issues with Transformers.  Making Jazz into some sort of robot wigga was just lame, the scene with Bumblebee pissing on John Turturo was crass and pointless, Optimus Prime looked like some sort of gay cruising wagon.

The main problem though was that there was nowhere near enough Starscream kicking everyone else's ass, he was a fucking F22 Raptor for God's sake, he could have taken out all the Autobots in 10 seconds if he'd wanted to

It was still worthy of a solid 7 though I reckon

Watched Princess Mononoke last night.  Utter masterpiece, it's just wonderful.

Saw a film last night called "My First Mister" starring Albert Brooks and Leelee Sobieski. REALLY great film about a gothic girl who doesn't have any friends (Sobieski) who befriends her boss (Brooks) who also has no friends but there is a reason he doesn't... he knows something. Really beautiful film though.
