Ok guys, I listen to all the Leaks, and they sound amazing. So far knowing what we GNR fans know about Chinese Democracy do you think the music world will accept the quality of this album (ofcourse what we have listen so far, cause IÂll bet my ass thereÂs more good fucking songs and changes made in this album) and put it up right there as one of the great things that is going to happend to music this days??? if it get release...

NOtice that I didnt mention one of the best albums of all time, cause we dont know shit yet, how this album is gona breakdown into the public and into the critics of Axl and GNR. I also dont want to compare this album or leaks ( yet) to previous GNR music or albums. Remember that we are watching a different band grow and make new fucking amazing music, cause thereÂs no question that this band has the talent.

Think about it, if this leaks sound more more more than average stuff, In fact my opinion is that this leaks FUCKING ROCKS, imagine the rest of the product or imagine how could final versions could sound. Is not going to be a perfect album but is gonna be damm close...

In the 20 years I have been into rock music i have listened to loads of stuff from Poison to Pearl Jam and The Almighty to Alice in Chains.. i have a varied rock music taste but nothing has hit me as hard in the last 10 years or so than these fuckin leaks and seeing GNR live last year..

Yes of course im Axl and Gnr biased but the leaks are goosebump stuff and in my opinion thats rare ...  Kerrang and those fuckin magazines will says its shit and put it down as the worst cd of 2007 while giving away a free fall out boy sticker but who gives a fuck ... If u can feel it then this cd will be fucking huge...

My dad even wants to know when its out.. he has some sainsbury nectar poins ready lol

so far kills St Anger, and is better than ozzy's down to earth.

it's probably gonna be the best rock album of 2007...

Well, we don't know if it's not going to be a perfect album, as we'll have to see the final result.
The leaks sound promising and are just enough to controle the big bunch of fans that are dieing to hear Chinese Democracy full abum after all those years. I hope those leaks are just the appetite before GNR starts the destruction of the "modern" rock & roll scene. For that, all songs should be the blues / madagascar /cather / sweet child o' mine / nightrain /paradise city / november rain / Civil War / Patience / Don't cry quality (in my opinion).
I for one still miss the epic, fast buth very warm bluesy solo's that Slash pulled off. I think the mass will still miss that aspect. Axl's voice will be recognizable when he manages to have it stable on all songs, but the GNR sound will be 'weird' for those millions of fans that have yet to hear all those leaks / demos that those very few hardcore fans (that are on forums) already heard and got used to. Even though GNR played some tours in 2006-2007, the mass is not really used to the new GNR sound yet, as they mostly played old songs and some new ones that nobody new except the ones of the front rows ^^.

Let's just hope for a sign of life or a real album announcement from the GNR camp so chinese democracy can finally start.

What I love about the leaks is that, A) from people who have worked on the album like Buckmaster and Beltrami, and also from Sebastian Bach, we've heard that at least in some peoples opinions there are some incredible songs we haven't even heard yet, that are better than the ones we've heard thus far

And B) what we've heard thus far is still well above and beyond what any other well known rock band is doing at the moment at least in my opinion.  You have songs that are vintage GnR like The Blues, which would fit right in with UYI era GnR, TWAT which sounds like a classic GnR ballad with some modern touches, Catcher which has a decidedly old school sound, as well as some more modern rocking songs like Better, IRS and CD, and then Madagascar which is a pretty innovative track.  I love the diversity of this music, the blend of new and old, and I think Axl's lyricism is in peak form on just about all of these songs. 

There's no doubt that some ass clowns are going to hate and rip this album excessively, they would have done that no matter what.  But I think that most people will be surprised how good it is.  Everyone I've played the new songs for is surprised how good they sound, and the feedback has been almost universally positive from everyone I've played this stuff for

I actually think it will be well received in general by critics.  I think there will be some who are more into talking about the $15 million and 8 years of recording than the quality of the album, and it will be ripped by some, but overall I think the major magazines like Rolling Stone will welcome this album with open arms.  I mean there's no rock bands out there really doing music like this right now, and this will breathe some life into the stagnant world of rock.

Of course there will be those that hate it, many of whom made up their mind that they would hate it no matter what many years ago.  But I think that in general, the music is good enough to win over a lot of skeptics and people who were on the fence

Guys Ive been doing a test since a year now. Im sending to people and friends (people who doesnt even know whoÂs Axl Rose or Gnr) ,  this songs: Better, Blues, Catcher in the rye, and Madascar.  And man,,,  90% of the people who received this songs I talk to them  after, and they love them , they want to know who made them , and if thereÂs any CD they can buy.... 

The point is, that this songs could very well reach many many new fans and people who doesnt know shit about GNR. Cause  most of the new songs has like a nice atraction to it, that makeÂs you want to listen .

Honestly is there any band out there that could make a song as good as Better, a song as good as Chinese Democracy, a song as good as The Blues, all so different in style and tone, and yet maintain such incredibly high quality?  That's the beauty of Guns, I'm glad to see their amazing versatility is still in full effect

Well, of the bands that are currently around, GNR is definately on top of them all, even with these leaks.
Even when it's un-ClassicGNR. Of course many people who are into that industrial music and nu-metal thing will learn to know the new Guns n' Roses, without knowing the old, that's true. But I wonder how the mass of old-GNR people will respond. I guess after all the new fans will make up the 'loss' of the die hard old gnr (old gnr sound) fans and everybody will be happy.

I hope AC/DC would release their supposedly new album too, but I kinda start to think I'll never hear it. I hope to have the chance to see them live for the first time of my life.

Even I can admit as a massive Metallica fan that it would n't be hard to beat St. Anger, not that I'm dismissing the quality of what we've heard of CD so far, far from it!!

The album will be suceeded, definitely. But the promotion need to be well made. Today MTV, VH1 etc. are too strong, a good video and single would made the album explode.
