Getting Involved..

Hey Guys Ive been watching GNR RIR03 other concerts from last year,  It seems to me that for this upcoming tour I would like to see  more chemestry between the band members on stage , than the last presentations that weÂve seen. I mean they sound great but I would like to see more interaction on stage between Richard and Axl , and Ron also,,,  cause so far I carefully watch the concerts and Axl interacts more with tommy and a little with Robin......Im I wrong? what you guys think??? I think this band needs more jumping around on stage, or running around and interact  Together more often....cause sometimes if you watch carefully Axl is alone on center stage , and the rest is like aside or at the back....... yeah yeah I know Axl is the main focus, but in time and since 2002  they are more like a band now and not Axl Proyect.....they just need to get more involve i guess.. thay all have stage personality, I dont want and I dont expect them to be like the old band just Fucking and rocking around on stage... but something close...

I've noticed (sadly from bootlegs only - missed the Detroit show, money was tight...) but that they seem more of band in 2006.

While in 2001/02, Bucket just stood in his corner and played his solo, and at times just stood there and didn't play anything, Bumble is always smiling and playing his ass off.

I think Robin and Richard have a lot of chemistry, from what I've seen there always right next to each other, laughing and having a great time

With Axl and Tommy sitting on the ledge for a few good seconds, that was awesome

It pretty much depends on each one's style, maybe that's the way they like to play, i don't think it means they are not comfortable.

I will be clear with you, I saw the band last year and the impression I got:
- Axl beyond
- The rest of the band behind him

Plain and simple. I didn't feel like they were a "band", but more a collective of professional studio musicians playing for a boss. Axl is clearly the boss, he gives them orders "do this! do that! play like that! one more time for Nightrain! do it now!!"... . Axl fucking gives them ORDERS. A band? my ass. They seem scared of him.

I tell you, Slash was the only contra-power to Axl in GN'R, but now Axl got all the power, and that's not good.

This is absolutely true man! He can't run through the stage like he did 15 years ago and still reach great singing, everytime he tries to run a bit he lost the song, sign of the ages...

if u want to have the soul of gn'r back, all members including steven have to come back not just slash. these 5 people were a brotherhood which made gn'r possible. hiring matt sorum was the first step in breaking this brotherhood. like izzy said: "without steven nothing seemed to work anymore". these vibration between the bandmembers in the appetite for destruction era can't be replaced. the new band is good, but all of them have mainly just been studio/tour muscians, except tommy stinson.

mmh, buckethead was an entertainer with his freaky shows. i don't think he really fit into gn'r.

didn't knew he said that... but you're right in what you said. this band will never be like the original formation. they do not share the same house, drinks, drugs and girls like they used to... they are not a brotherhood.
they are a band who is trying to make music, trying to release a record. they are making good music from what i heard but it will never be the same. even if they reunite it will never be the same.

but they are the greatest band out there and those demos are great and if the rest of the songs are so good as The Blues, Madagascar, Better, CD, TWAT, CITR we will have the album of the decade!!! don't you think?

yeah, that's right but first of all we have to hold that damn thing in our hands. I still don't fully trust that chinese democracy will ever come out.  and i still hope that their wil be a reunion one day.
