well since the 90's was the decade i grew up in mostly (born '87), it had alot of great things, from the movies, the tv shows, the music, plus life just seemed better. when i was 7, i could walk up the street without supervision because my parents knew every single person on it would be looking out for me at some point.... nowadays, we know hardly anyone. neighborhood friendliness has just seemed to disappear. theres few memories i have of the early 90's but whether it was the day i met my fav Formula 1 driver Nigel Mansell in '92 or simply the say i came inside on a hot summers day, flicked through the channels and watched the Good Burger movie on Nick, whether hanging around outside playing Power Rangers with my best friend matthew or staying up that extra couple of hours as Cartoon Network ended and WCW Monday Nitro came on TNT, Friday's 9pm just after Johnny Bravo. life had something to enjoy.. being an adult in the 00's really sucks compared to being a kid in the 90's. maybe thats just the innocence of being a child, i dunno but... it just does.

what was the best thing that CAME out of the 90's?... i don't really know because pretty much every memory i hold dear in the 90's ended sometime in 00 or 01. whether it be my best friend moving (that happened around 97 actually but still) or as simple as WCW folding and giving in to the WWE (World's Worst Entertainment). i dunno whether the 90's was the magic decade or whether the magic thing was being a kid.. i suppose i'll never know. but whatever it was, it was a pretty good fuckin decade.

or better yet, Pokemon

yeaaaah, Pokemon. But Cartoon Network was pretty cool in the 90's (nickelodeon too) now is all shit, the only cartoon I like is Fairy odd parents. Even pokemon sucks now a days. Stupid new pokemons with their weird names and weird shapes.
I was still a little kid when my innocence was lost... In a mobile army whore-house, gift from the army, free of charge... Next! Next!

Some kickass movies and music
I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain

Born in 1981 so it's all right there.

Holidays in Portugal and Spain, England playing football in 1990 (Gazza and Gary Lineker) and missing out in 1994 and then being beaten by Germany in 96 and then Michael Owen in 98, David Beckham's red card, Linford Christie and Michael Johnson at the olympics, Blur vs Oasis, Spice Girls vs All Saints, Kurt Cobain, New Labour and Cool Brittania, boybands, shellsuits, pogs, Friends, long grungy hair, tiedye, some townie kid trying bully me but I wasn't having any of it so I knocked him out.

And most important: bottles of cider and park benches and Benson and Hedges!!
