well since the 90's was the decade i grew up in mostly (born '87), it had alot of great things, from the movies, the tv shows, the music, plus life just seemed better. when i was 7, i could walk up the street without supervision because my parents knew every single person on it would be looking out for me at some point.... nowadays, we know hardly anyone. neighborhood friendliness has just seemed to disappear. theres few memories i have of the early 90's but whether it was the day i met my fav Formula 1 driver Nigel Mansell in '92 or simply the say i came inside on a hot summers day, flicked through the channels and watched the Good Burger movie on Nick, whether hanging around outside playing Power Rangers with my best friend matthew or staying up that extra couple of hours as Cartoon Network ended and WCW Monday Nitro came on TNT, Friday's 9pm just after Johnny Bravo. life had something to enjoy.. being an adult in the 00's really sucks compared to being a kid in the 90's. maybe thats just the innocence of being a child, i dunno but... it just does. what was the best thing that CAME out of the 90's?... i don't really know because pretty much every memory i hold dear in the 90's ended sometime in 00 or 01. whether it be my best friend moving (that happened around 97 actually but still) or as simple as WCW folding and giving in to the WWE (World's Worst Entertainment). i dunno whether the 90's was the magic decade or whether the magic thing was being a kid.. i suppose i'll never know. but whatever it was, it was a pretty good fuckin decade.
for me the best things to come out of the 90s was the Smashing Pumpkins and The Big Lebowski.
