Do we really want brain back?

I was at the msg show last year while frank was playing. Before the show i was hoping it would be brain behind the kit .  But after about four or five songs frank had shut my mouth. He brings so much more energy to the show than brain ever did and has added some new flourishes to every song they play. I mean don't get me wrong brain is a class drummer, however i feel he is no longer the right fit for this band .

Neither one of the two is the right fit for the band.

I say can them both and bring back adler.

Yes I want! Saw him playing with GN'R in Prague last year but I haven't seen Frank so I can't compare but Brain was amazing and he deserves to play new songs where he got his own drumming line. I don't really care how is Frank or Brain playing YCBM or any other old songs I really just care about the new songs and that's what Brain should play!

Yeah, Adler still plays.

His favorite things are still smoking the crip, jager, and drumming.

idk... I can't get any feeling for drums or drummers 
Okay there are a few outstanding drummers but seriously... those guys earn their money by pounding the hell outta animal skin boxes  at least it's not that kind of art like playing guitar, piano or laying down the vocals.

Matt Sorums drum solo on the concert dvd was one of those horrible experiences

as much as i like adler, hes not up to it. u can tell by the way he talks and he couldn't do a two - three hour gig

I agree fully with zodiac.  I saw Them in baltimore and was extremely pissed off not seeing brain, but frank shut my ass up too.  Being a drummer i have come to realize how different they are, brain is so technical with his style in the sense that everything he does is very percise, and frank brings a more blues kind of drumming to it that shows more soul in my opinion.  I think brain was perfect for the 02 guns, but in my opinion gnr is passed that and i think franks the shit

I haven't had a chance to see Brain live yet, which is something I really want to do!
Having said that, Frank was awsome last summer so I wouldn't mind too much if he became permanent!

If doing anything, including bringing Brain back, brings us closer to the release of the album and having the band play different songs and not cancel shows for various reasons, it should be done.
