  DREAM THEATER Keyboardist's New Solo Album To Feature GUNS N' ROSES Guitarist - June 15, 2007 
 
Magna Carta Records has set a September 12 release date for the new solo album from DREAM THEATER keyboardist Jordan Rudess, entitled "The Road Home". Having been influenced by classic progressive acts such as GENESIS, YES and GENTLE GIANT, Rudess revisits some of the great songs from those bands with his own special Jordan Rudess touch. He is assisted on the CD by a great group of guests, such as Nick D'Virgilio (SPOCK'S BEARD), Kip Winger (WINGER), Rod Morgenstein (WINGER), Ed Wynne (OZRIC TENTACLES), Bumblefoot (GUNS N' ROSES), Marco Sfogli (JAMES LABRIE), Ricky Garcia (LAFEE) and several others.

he's even better than CHRIS PITMAN :O :O :O.  but yeh...saw him live.  any DT fans here?  think of an extended synth solo in the beginning of Octavarium (more so than it already was).

DT is THE shit, I saw them last wednesday, I'm still not recovered from the awe...

btw it's kinda funny, last year - Ex DT keyboardist - ex GNR guitarist, then now DT keyboardist - GNR guitarist appear in the same song...

yea i'm a big fan. saw them 3 times or so. That's so weird. I hope that's true. That would kinda build a bridge for me. From my adoration of rock and straight, old heavy music, which GNR is in the center of, and my absolute musicial love of these days, prog-metal, which Dream Theater was (and is not far now) in the center of. (But still there are prog-band that touch me way more.)

does anyone know what I mean?? :lol:
