Axl's voice
« on: June 17, 2007, 09:26:35 AM »
For those who dont listen guns regularly, they usually remember that axl lost his voice, but recently I played the 12/20/2006 show in LA, and I listened to it very carefully an even when the quality isnt the best. I have to admit in that show he almost his Illusion Era voice, but now it's like if he had lost it again... what do you think...

1 thing..

Axls voice last year , had more range, and he could control it way better then the early days,

and I dont think any of this years performances so far are any different,
its just that we havent had a good bootleg from the oz/meccico shows to prove it.

And judging by the aus reviews, its the 87-91 voice is back..

His voice seemed to be the best during the final leg of 06' tour-I haven't seen him hold notes as long this year.
When I saw him in nov 06' he was really showing off how long he could hold notes, it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck, in Mx this year his voice was solid, but just not as spectactular as last year

Utter self deluded horse shit.

Axl's voice back in the early days was significantly better than it is now. Anybody who says any different is an idiot. If Axl gave one of his worst performances from the Illusion days now people would point to it and go "look Axl has his voice back!". Illusion / Appetite era Axl shits all over CD era Axl.

Although now he's clearly better than he was in 02.
I wouldn't want anyone fucking in my yard

i'd rather have this voice then the so called ''PWNAGE'' voice he had in 91 and the first half of 92 that just fucking sucked
just because you've got a bunch of guys agreeing doesn't mean shit.

actually Axl knows how to use his voice, not only a "raspy fest" like in noblesville, 91.
Skitzo Calypso can explain that better, if he's around. :)
not comparing bands or anything, just said i didnt like how he used his voice in 91-93.
