yep, its very weird indeed that such a (most of the time) great live band failed with official live show releases that much (LLAS studio, crappy tokyo92, fake era). guess thats why they are one of the most bootlegged bands cause their official live releases never could stand up for a "real" live experience.

edit: hups, got off-topic  :O

Has anyone actually questioned what happened to all the liveshows? Who has them? I read an interview where either Axl or Slash said, that it was a struggle to assemble all the material for the Live Era cd's, that they'd basically had to contact roadies in order to get a certain show... And that there was countless hours of material that they needed someone who had the patience and time to sit and watch what's useable or not...

I would really hope, that they MAKE something out of all that recorded material and release it. But at the same time, there must be a reason why we won't see anything else than bootlegs or bootleg-dvd's or stuff copied from original recordings, or whatever.

RELEASE EVERYTHING BEFORE THE MOVIES GET DESTROYED, GOD DAMNIT! (well, I hope who ever has the material knows how to maintain the quality - anybody remember Star Wars?)
