How does Mick Wall portray Axl? Is he really villified? I'm not saying I want Wall to kiss Axl's ass, but it will annoy me if he is portrayed as entirely horrid. I can't read the book because it doesn't come out til February where I am.
He's not overly nasty towards him, though he is when he starts talking about the current incarnation. (and in the introduction he mentions that GN'R is essentially dead, regardless of what Axl's up to nowadays). The most interesting bit for me was the description of how Matt was sacked. It was done by matt (an old interview), and mentions how Axl says "I'm Guns N' Roses and i don't need Slash"
I'm getting this book for Christmas, hope it's good
It is, see above post
