We have proof he existed, no proof he was the son of God. Well, we have proof of him living as much as we have proof of anything else. No one can truly prove anything though. One thing's for sure, he had the biggest impact on the planet than anyone else ever did.

The influence part is irrelevant btw. Santa Claus has a massive influence on culture, as does Homer Simpson, Darth Vader and Harry Potter. None of them exist.

Well, proof is a man made concept that doesn't actually exist. Nothing can be proven, I shouldn't have used the word proof so lightly. With what we know, it is more likely that a dude called Jesus did actually live, though it's unlikely he was the son of God.

I wasn't using him having such an impact on the world as an argument either, i was just saying why i would pick him to be resurrected.

Of course you can't 100% prove anything, everything is based on probabilities determined from observation and evidence.

Either you have evidence that Jesus existed and we can give him a likely probability or you don't and he is in the category of fairies and goblins.

Like i said, i shouldn't have used the word proof so lightly. The argument works both ways though, you're the one saying specifically that we dunno if Jesus existed. He could have existed just as much as any of the other guys people have said that wanna resurrect.  Besides i didn't actually seriously think i was gonna be bringing him back to life by saying i wanted to in this thread.
