Alright been busy with work, and away from the boards for awhile. Some of you know me from other boards, and what not. Hung out with many in NYC, etc. Anyways, I do (james can vouge) have some contact with a few music insiders and a few people who know members of the band. I have had some conversations in the past few days with them. At this time, for the first time definitively, Universal has set a release date of November 20. Keep in mind, this can change and may, but the wheels and plan are in motion. There was no release date ever scheduled last year, so in comparison, this is the closest we have ever been to this coming out. Will it happen, no one knows, at Universal, or even those working for the band? But there is a completely finished album (from what I gather, brilliant musically, but definitely different than vintage GN'R), and it was decided early in the year, that the shopping season is the best time for sales, especially of a name band like GN'R. We will see.
Someone has also told me that the there an album release part on nov 17 at the playboy mansion.
