I've read it and really enjoyed it, pretty interesting shit, You really get a good feel for how Sixx lived in 1987

If you enjoyed the Dirt and you're a Crue fan you should definitely pick it up

i got it today in mail. finnish this gay harry potter book today and start heroin diaries tomorrow. looks weird from the inside. not at all what i have expected. every page has another design. doesn't look like a book really. like a childrens picture book with weird pics and text on it. i hope when i start reading it i will change my mind about it...

I was definitely positively surprised... It had this overproduced feel to it, all the advertising etc.. But I guess it's like that with all famous rockstar bios(in this case diary).. Anyway, I really liked it, read it in like 2 days.

And I did!! This book totally rocked!!    I agree with gnrfreek I was shocked at the book's design and I immediately thought 'Kid's book!!' as well 
How wrong was I? A harrowing and intense read at times but also uplifting by the end. Hat's off to Nikki for getting his act together, I mean let's face it he had too!! 
Some great stuff about Slash, However I don't think that Nikki thought very highly of Axl 

Also some great anecdotes and observations from Tommy, Vince, Mick etc. However that Vanity chick was a total fucking fruitcake!! 

All in all great stuff it set me up nicely for Slash's autobiography.

Yeah that was another cool thing about the book it had Guns stuff in it, like when Axl got arrested for attacking security guards

heroin diaries is a great read and nikki sixx is actually a clever character. he has shown that when he's sober he can be an intelligent guy. this might sound strange (at least to me it is), but his journal entries actually made me want to do heroin. now i'm never gonna touch the stuff, but it made me curious. i know nikki says he hopes his book will help people, but that would suck if people became hooked. ironic maybe? on a similar note, when i saw the super-size me documentary, i wanted a mcdonald's burger so bad.
