Let me start this post by saying that I have never been one to gossip nor do I ever get on forums and message boards and perpetuate rumors. But I have a story and I will share it.I live in kansas city missouri and Slash called in to the local rock station the other day. Earlier in the morning show, the dj mentioned Slash was calling in and he seemed to be bragging about his prediction that Libertad would be a failure and that vr would break up and it was setting up perfectly for a reunion of old gnr. Now, one of the biggest midwest concerts every summer is held here and is known as rockfest. It draws 40,000 people annually. The dj, Johnny Dare, told the audience that he had a secret and didn't know if he should mention it on air so he called the program director of the station,98.9 the rock, and the program director confirmed, on air mind you, that indeed the station, 98.9 the rock, is in talks with Stone Temple Pilots about headlining next summers Rockfest concert. Again, I am not making this up, I heard it on the radio and am just repeating what I heard. Just sharing the info. What do you people think of this?
