I heard about this today as well on 97.7 Htz Fm.They said that there was a possible breakup of Velvet Revolver and Matt Sorum was the one who came out and said this rumour. Now I'll believe it when I hear it but for now it's just all speculation. As far as a GNR reunion...I like many old Gunners fans would absoulutely love the idea but with the mess that was left between Axl & Slash I just don't see a reunion anytime soon.Peace out!!!

personally i do hope velvet split. There last album was absolutlly terrible, the guitar bass and drums were all ok but the lyrics were just not good. And well if this is the best this "supergroup" can do once theyve all worked together then its just a waste of time staying together anylonger, just wasting eachothers talent. Sayign that contraband was good, but then again scott dident have as much say in that, anyone else seeing a pattern  :ninja:

VR are touring Europe in the spring. Slash, Duff and Scott said they would like to do at least one more album of orignal material (also that would meet the requirements of their contract). Duff and Slash are planing to relase their respective solos albums next year.

On a side not heaven and Hell were amazing on saturday. I was so shocked Dio could still sing like that!

VELVET REVOLVER UNABLE TO PERFORM FOUR SCHEDULED CONCERTS IN JAPAN AS IMMIGRATION OFFICIALS THERE HAVE DENIED THE BAND'S REQUEST FOR VISAS VELVET REVOLVER were looking forward to their upcoming tour of Japan: a series of four concerts--to promote their current album LIBERTAD--between November 26 and November 30, encompassing the cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Yokohama. For the band, the upcoming trek was the opportunity to reconnect with their fans in Japan, where the band tour has toured before--without incident--back in 2005. But now it's a different story as VELVET REVOLVER's request for visas has just been denied. The increasingly tough Japanese immigration officials are taking exception with the backgrounds of various band members, which have included arrests. The band is appealing the decision of the officials--which is ironic given that LIBERTAD is Spanish for "liberty" and "freedom"--but this process will unfortunately take months to sort out. "We want to apologize to our fans in Japan that we won't be able to perform our scheduled concerts," VELVET REVOLVER said in a group statement. "We don't understand why the authorities won't give us visas when they granted them for us in 2005 for what was a successful tour and a great experience. We love Japan and look forward to our return there." VELVET REVOLVER will proceed with their Australian tour that begins on December 4 in Brisbane. Upon its return to the U.S., the band- lead vocalist SCOTT WEILAND, guitarist SLASH, bassist DUFF McKAGAN, drummer MATT SORUM and guitarist DAVE KUSHNER-will headline Wednesday, December 12 at the Gibson Amphitheatre. This show-with Alice In Chains-was originally set for Friday, October 26 at the outdoor Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA but was postponed due to the devastating Southern California wildfires. See dates below and check out www.velvetrevolver.com.

Very strange indeed, low ticket sales perhaps?   :paranoid:

Haha it's fucking hilarious because it's true.. I love how he has the statute figure of a fucking drug fucked bronx urchin, and tries to do the Mick Jagger moves, ends up looking like a 3rd rate Richard Simmons.. But as much as I hate him I like the sellouts like Slash enough to go see them! ..Duff still ain't a sellout in my eyes!

..Go figure.

That can happen... i remember when i wanted to go study in America, it was a pain in the ass to get my visa ... but eventually i got it...

now for bands... it should be even more easy than it was with me... cause they're that much powerful.. so its strange!
