STONE GODS - The band formerly known as THE DARKNESS are back!

[A little better than before]

Finally.....  the remaining members of THE DARKNESS are back, with a new band. No Justin Hawkins as we all know, but with Richie (the former bass player) now on vocals.

They have now announced their new band name, STONE GODS.  Album will be out soon, and they are starting a short tour mainly in the UK.

Check them out on www.stonegods.co.uk.  You will hear a sound clip of their new work.... it fucking rocks. First signs are really good.

Sure, I would prefer the old Darkness incl. Justin, but there's no way he will be back. So this is the next best thing.

The Darkness were a good band, not the greatest thing ever but they were listenable on most days.  Great too hear they finally got it all taken care of!

go on their website, click the bbc radio link n at bout sometime during the 40 -50 minute mark is a brief interview with a Dan and the song played in full!

tis pretty kick ass, tho the short clip doesnt quite prepare you for how the song transpires.

heavy shizzle right there! much heavier than the Darkness, tis kick ass tho!

i htink its a cross between AC/DC, Motley Crue and The Darkness funnily enough! check it out!

Wow, that is really good, a lil Iron Maiden-esq. Shame about what happened to Justin, but that's what taking drugs does to you.
I might go see them, they're playing the London Underworld on the 29th of Janurary.
