okay, this has bugged me since i was like 8.  when people say 'i could care less', they're really saying that they COULD care less.

you should say 'i couldn't care less', because it obviously says that there's nothing else you could care less about than what was just said or whatever.

i dunno, i just wanted to vent my frustration for people who 'could care less'.

I've never heard anyone say I could care less, apart from Mark and then Monom, so I've only heard it twice, but both times were just now.

I vote nay to that preposition, american colors ftw. Simply because I love to write in (American) English, which allows me to use can't, it's, I'm and You're(s) when I write papers. If I chose to write in English, my English teacher wouldn't let me. I am way too lazy(to say I am, instead of I'm) to waste my time by not putting words together, when I can. :smirk:
