Australia, for shame!

Congrats to Freddie for making #1, he accomplished alot during his life, but Elvis? Didn't even write his own songs, and Slash? What has he done when he wasn't piggy backing off the creative work Axl & Izzy laid down for him? Again, Aussie public, for shame!

because he was the first popular homo to die because of AIDS...

and he was one of the greatest frontmen(and sometimes backman :D) ever...
he deserves the 1st place.

only other possible are jim morrison, kurt cobain and elvis presley that qualify for the title of the biggest legend... personally... I dont like any of them... but in people's eyes those are the biggest legends... if not for the musical legacy... than because they were dumb enough to kill them sealves in most bizarre/retarded ways... and bizarre creates legends.

compared to the 3 suicidal stooges... Freddy was/is THE KING!


only possible alternative for the "legend" is John Lennon... but I prefer Freddy over him.

Rockn. Good to see Slash getting his due BIG time these past few years. Jim Morrison should have been on the list. Strange that Axl didnt even make the list. Maybe his hype is starting really blow over.

However, somehow middling rocker Jon Bon Jovi, who came in at fifth place, was above such legends as David Bowie (tenth), Mick Jagger (ninth) and, erm, Slash (sixth), questioning the integrity of the poll.  :lol:

People, let me explain something. This poll was inspired by Guitar Hero III's release, and guess what... Slash is a playable character there! :lol:
Oh, Bon Jovi has a song in another game, called Rock Band - released in November. So all those kids voted for Slash and Bon Jovi. :)
That explains a lot.
