I feel that the old one felt more stylish, it just felt more together than this one. Although it would be damn cool if you kinda mixed the old and new one. Perhaps use the old clips of the sea and such, replace the VMA footage with new (skip the Rock Am Ring ones though) and use the new clips you have in this video during the solo and voila, it's perfect (in my opinion of course).

Still damn good though!

hey man, i understand what you say. I still think these items can represent the same duality that is present in the name "chinese democracy". And lets not forget that the "so called communist" countries were a flawed mutated evil thing that has nothing to do with the original idealism theorized by marx and hengels.

but i think you make a strong point, i'll think up a new logo

maybe something like this but smashed, broken or something like that... we're talking about democracy anyway. maybe you could use something like photos of Berlin Wall from the times it collapsed. I'm not against using soviet or nazi symbols, but it has to be in historic sense, not a propagation!

my other idea - this is maybe too dark. talking about artistic impression, I loved the early 2004 version with soldiers etc., you achieved great balance of black, white and colors.

(btw, even the original idealism theory by Marx & co. was evil. the thought itself is bad, discriminating and unreal. but this is not the right place for such discussion).
