Gilby ?

 So I guess Axl and Gilby have a pretty good relationship being that Axl was showing up at a couple of his shows, and singing with him onstage for a while, so does anyone know why he wasnt invited to remain part of the band, or to come back to it after the fallouts ? I always liked Gilby.

Is there any kind of video, of Axl and Gilby on stage, in 2000. Axl was wearing an Ohio State jersey!!!!!! GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!

no, only a few photos. there's a bootleg of Dead Flowers that is labeled "cat house 2000" but it's fake from Milton Keynes 93

He was fired because his song writing abilities were not good enough.

Nice guy, good guitarist but just not very productive apparently.

I met Gilby in germany around 05, and he was a very nice guy, He was hanging out in a bar in Hamburg I bought him a drink chatted a while but nothing big, just talk about nonsence.

yep. he is just too "classic", not able to do "big things" that Axl wanted.

Gilby is not that great.... he doesnt do very good solos and he didnt even know the rythim on welcome to the jungle... if u pay attentions in the shows... ull notice that he sucks doing that song...
