The truth is if the old lineup has not writen AFD, the new would have nothing to play on concerts. :D

For that the old should be grateful. If the new didn't exist, the old would have been pretty much forgotten about - the old wouldn't have meant nearly as much as it has to many people over the last 10 years.

I've been following this band since I was 10 years old, soon I'm gonna be 28.
And I've always cared about this guys' music.
We all have been waiting for so long for this cd, we all have downloaded songs from different places in order to have the "complete" album.
The first time I heard "The Blues", a tear rolled down my face. (not joking). The "feeling" that all those old songs used to have, appears in such a cooler way now.
To me, I used to love Slash, Duff, etc., but Axl Rose is Guns n' Roses! And is the band that have always been with me in all my times, whenever I'm sad, fucked up, or strangely happy.
It doesn't need to be the same as the old days to be good or better. It's just different, and it's really good!

No.

Axl is not GNR.  he is a HUGE part of GNR, but Izzy, Slash, & Duff, and to some extent Steven/Matt made up what was a key part.

Also, one must include West Arkeen to the mix.

:?:wtf are you talking about?

I'm talking about how this band CAN mean something to you, even though they haven't released a CD yet. I know it was kinda confusing, I'm having a hard time expressing myself in english. But the point is, if you weren't old enough to experience the old GN'R in their days, but your old enough to experince the new GN'R and following them in every single thing they do, that way they CAN mean alot to you, because you actually like the members that's in it :)

Yes, you're right.
It could have been good, if all the original members were together, that would be the real GnR.
What I wanted to say is that it doesn't matter if Axl made a new band using the same name, the fact to me, is that I can still feel something good enough and it doesn't make me miss the other ones. This band sounds good.
