its so badly written its laughable 

But i think anyone who reads it and says its really good needs to get their head checked, or read some better books to get an idea of what constitutes as good writing.

The thing is, Axl obviously thought it was good when reading it, otherwise he wouldn't have used it for November Rain

Which makes me seriously question his taste in reading

And it really is terrible

I actually enjoyed it. Whether  it "constitutes" good writing or not, is not for me to say. Everyone is a critic. I thought it was great. I got teary-eyed for a second! :'(

On a side note, being that this book is out of print and quite the GNR collectible, I purchased mine for 80$ mint some years ago.  Anyone else have a copy?

I have a copy - you can buy it on Amazon. It's not exactly best seller material but it was ok. Would of been good to see the next installment of videos, Axl on fire would of been pretty hot, no pun intended!
