Just got back from seeing it.  Apart from the whole shaky camera making me feel sick...  I dug it, money well spent.

Did the Monster disappoint me?  Not really, I didn't go to see a cool monster or anything like that anyway.  He did the job well.  I'm just a bit disappointed with the ending, and I totally foresaw them ending it as such, but I wanted to know more.

On a seperate note, on my receipt for the movie, I noticed we get charged nowadays for amusement.  There is an 'Amusement Tax' that was $1.04.  How fucked is that?  Charging me for amusement, haha.

I liked the movie. The shakey camera made it seem more real. If there was a giant 50 story monster killing people in front of you, would you not be slightly scared/distracted and maybe forget to point the camera at it?

They charged you an amusement tax? That's fucking brutal.

Saw it earlier today. amazing movie, i wasn't dissapointed with the monster. the effect given by the movie well to me anyway is after you're finished watching, your mind i still keeping up with it, so half an hour after it, half your brain is still at the party in the beginning. its as if it'd happened to you and your brain is still figuring half the shit out haha awesome film though. i wanna watch it again.

Not what i expected will need to see it in the cinema properly as the rip i've got is fooking shocking also i aint a big fan of the camera work in the movie even if it's meant to make it realistic as if it actually happened lol at when he takes on the baby parasite though.

i kinda am hoping for a sequal to see what happens, i mean you know that the two lovers die...
but i guess the monster won in the end,
but so what the fuck lol.
it came out of the water like Godzilla and then turned over the tank and then it exploded, then it started breaking and killing everyone?
and yeah the moving of the camera was a bit much, it didnt make me sick, but they coulda eased off on it....
then the idea of the spider demons coming out of it has also kinda been done, so idk ....

Good movie overall, just.. wanna know what happens.

I haven't seen it but heard it was a mutant whale... that had parasite crabs or lice coming off from it... It would have made an awesome godzilla movie from what I hear...

the monster looked nothing like godzilla

also, i hear a LOT of older people got motion sickness
whereas the younger generation didnt really get bothered by the moving camera, supposedly because we are used to that sort of thing thanks to youtube and such :?:
