 Hello Folks, this is my first post being a newbie and all. I am hoping this is also a forum to vent our never ending frustration with this whole thing (Chinese Democracy)   How can possibly the biggest rock band/singer in history   not give us anything, no updates, studio blogs  shit much less update their damn website. I mean There is nothing  just this damn rumor that the album is done and they are trying to "market" it.. shit we dont' even know if this is true or not, This is not only bad business (if they are trying to "market" this but highly disrepectful to the very people that put ole Axl on this pedistal).  I know you all have gotten to the point of exhaustion with this obsession ... What is the problem.   Shit I would be passified with another offical post .. that it's on the way, or Chinese Democracy ..is in it's infant stages and the diplomatic process is taking longer than expected so it kinda sorta starts now..maybe

Sorry to rag on you bud but don't you think a thousand "newbies" just like you have said the same thing countless times? Obviously everyone already knows this stuff but no one can answer why things are as they are.

I'm starting to think we should start a new forum members thread where they can all write the exact same thing right after each other instead of starting a new thread every time.

I agree with threadstarter 100%. Id be happy with any sort of news, even bad, just to know. I liked the title of this thread though... What can we do? What can we, as a group do ? Mass emails to the same account at the record company ? Maybe one will get a reply.. A petition to find out  what the status is ? ( even though it never works ) ? What can we, as a group, as a whole do to show that people really want to know what the albums progress is ?

Im sure that people from the record board check this forum everyday anyway, if nothing else to check nothings leaked etc. They know how frustrated we are.

Im sure most of us who know anything about the biz would have a shitload of ideas for marketing. Probably alot of innovative ideas as well. They always underestimate us.

 That is a great question !! and maybe if someone from the record company checks this we could help answer.. I mean really this is the most anticipated album of all time .. with the climate in the music business (Hip hop and sacerine infused disney pop) topping the charts, how do you market this thing ? Do you try to hit he younger crowd ?, Market it for its  nostelgic appulance ?  Bank on the curiosity factor ? or just release it quick quick sales and base your marketing bottom line off inital response. With the state of album sales and losing almost 16 million to "promote" Will.I.AM and other albums that have flopped.. I am sure they are leary on something all of us know is a sure thing but they can't take just our devotion to the bank.

 any idea ?
